The Select time period block defines which images in an image collection will be used by a workflow. Every workflow that uses an image collection as the dataset must use the Select time period block.
Use the date picker or type the date into the To and From fields.
Clicking the month or the year in the date selector will show a shortcut to select earlier dates.
Workflows with a shorter time period will run faster, as they require less processing.
Why do I see different dates depending on the dataset I’m using?
Each dataset covers a different time period. For example, ERA5 has been providing new images since 1982. Other datasets like Biomass Carbon Density Map provide a ‘snapshot’ for a single year.
