Template workflows in Earth Blox

Use template workflows to run analyses without having to build your own workflows. 

You can find template workflows on the Explore page under the ‘Templates’ tab. Use the search bar and filters to find templates. 

Alternatively, on the Projects page, click ‘Create new project’ and select ‘From template’ to choose a template.

Click ‘Details’ to see the description of the template, the datasets used, and the outputs from the workflow.

Earth Blox template workflows

Earth Blox has published a range of template workflows for customers to use. To see template workflows created by Earth Blox, go to the Explore page, and use the ‘Earth Blox’ filter next to the search bar on the templates tab.

Team template workflows

To see your team template workflows, go to the Explore page, and use the ‘Team’ filter next to the search bar on the templates tab.

Earth Blox users on a Creator license type can publish template workflows for their teams to use. These can be added to Packages by an Admin account.

Running a template workflow

To use a template workflow, click ‘Open’. Change the area of interest on the map (or just use the example area provided) and select run. 

Making changes to a template workflow

Once you’ve opened a template, you can make changes to the workflows to adapt it for your own use. Any changes you make won’t affect the original project that the template workflow is made from.

Saving a template workflow as a project

You can save a template workflow as a project of your own by clicking ‘Save as’ in the navigation bar. You can choose to save this in My projects (accessible only to you) or in Team projects (accessible to everyone in your team).
