Use the Re-assign classes block to group and rename classes to create a new thematic band. For example, you can use this block to group multiple forest classes in a land cover dataset into a single ‘forest’ class.
Click on the cog icon to create a new thematic band.
Use band
Select the thematic band to use as the basis for your new thematic band.
New band name
Choose a name for the new thematic band.
New classes
Create a new class by clicking on Create new class, and choose a unique value that is not used for any existing classes.
Colour
Click on the colour swatch to change the hex code assigned to the class. This is used when outputting map layers.
Description
Add a description to label each class.
Existing classes
Drag and drop the existing classes from the chosen band into your newly created classes using the drag handle.
Any classes that haven’t been moved into a new class will remain unchanged in the new thematic band.
